Needless to say I like IBM laptops.  Their Thinkpad model is my laptop of choice.  But of course there are those of you which will disagree with me.  And that is ok.  I have had nothing but success with IBM laptops.

Better than DELL

The main reason that IBM is better than Dell is because the warranty on an IBM laptop is transferable to the new owner with no question.  Dell on the other hand requires that you know who the previous owner is.  This information is not always available.  Which means that you can not utilize the dell warranty.

You can reach the IBM Support site and download all types of drivers and technical documents.  You will need your type number which is printed on the bottom of your thinkpad laptop.  Very easy site to navigate and full of great information that you can actually use.
